TRUVAN Academy

Build only what the role requires.

Name your target role, see the gap, close it, then demonstrate it. Learning is selected against a standard, not a catalogue.

Consent in practice

  • Captions, transcript and speed controls on every lesson.
  • Private notes save against the timestamp you wrote them at.
  • Your position is stored, so Continue resumes exactly where you stopped.

The on-ramp

Your on-ramp into clinical research.

Traditional certification routes usually ask for years of prior clinical research employment before you can even sit the exam. That is a closed loop: you need the job to qualify, and the qualification to get the job.

TRUVAN starts from the work instead. Role-realistic casebooks and simulations let you demonstrate capability from day one, scored against a published rubric and reviewed by a human assessor.

What you build is an evidence record employers can read: what you were asked to do, how it was assessed and who reviewed it. It is not a licence or a qualification, and it is not a job guarantee. It is a credible account of what you can actually do.

How Academy works

Gap first, then learning, then proof.

Academy - your learning pathIllustrative data
  1. 01Diagnostic

Your background and target role fix the standard everything after is measured against.

    Complete
  2. 02Pathway

The capability domains the role expects, and which of them you have not yet shown.

  3. 03Modules

  4. 04Assessment

Quizzes and assignments check the gap is closed, then Labs work evidences it.

    Next

Completing learning does not create an evidence record. Demonstrated, reviewed work does.

How a pathway is assembled from the diagnostic result. Sample pathway, not a real plan.

Stage 1 of 6: Take the two-minute diagnostic

Start here

Two questions. Then the right route.

Tell us why you are here and how fast you need to move. We will point you at the program that fits, before you spend anything.

Step 1 of 2: Your goal

What do you need right now?

Your route

Answer the questions to see the recommended program.

This is guidance, not an assessment. For a pathway read against your background and the capability domains a role expects, take the two-minute diagnostic.

Coaching programs

Three tiers. Your diagnostic points at one of them.

Live instruction with a cohort and a coach. Each tier ends in Labs, where the work you have practised is demonstrated and scored.

Cohort of clinical research professionals working through protocol documents around a meeting table

Entry level

6 weeks, live cohort. Runs 4 times a year.

Clinical Research Mastery

The coordinator role end to end: protocol, participant visits, source documentation, safety reporting and study files.

  • Run a visit against a protocol and document it defensibly
  • Handle consent, deviations and safety reporting correctly
  • Enter a CRC casebook in Labs with the work behind you

Best for: New to clinical research, or moving in from healthcare or the lab.

Site professional

6 weeks, live cohort. Runs 2 times a year.

Site to CRA

The monitoring skill set in full: source verification, site management and the judgement a monitor is hired for.

  • Plan and run a monitoring visit and write the report
  • Verify source, manage issues and escalate properly
  • Build a CRA-ready evidence record through Labs
View cohort dates and fee

Best for: Coordinators, research nurses and site staff moving into monitoring.

Clinical trial manager leading a project meeting with a seated team

Leadership

6 weeks, live cohort. Runs 2 times a year.

Leadership Track

Study planning, vendor and site oversight, regulatory strategy and the cross-functional leadership senior roles are hired for.

  • Plan and oversee study delivery across functions
  • Apply risk-based monitoring and TMF governance
  • Position for CTM, CPM or regulatory affairs moves
View cohort dates and fee

Best for: CTM, CPM and regulatory affairs routes for experienced professionals.

Fees are not listed here. Open a program page for its cohort dates, fee and enrolment steps.

Already experienced and searching for a role rather than training? The 90-Day Reverse Recruiting Program is a managed search service, not a cohort.

Peer study groups, monthly events, accountability partners and direct access to instructors between sessions.

Lifetime access to materials

Recordings and program materials stay available after the cohort ends, alongside the alumni network.

Accreditation notice

What our trainer accreditation means, and what it does not.

Rudy Malle personally holds a current Q-IAOCR accreditation as an Internationally Qualified Clinical Research Trainer, Trainer No. 16167194. Every TRUVAN Academy program is designed and delivered by Rudy, so learners are trained by an IAOCR Accredited Trainer.

What it means

  • The accreditation recognises Rudy Malle's individual knowledge, teaching competence and ongoing professional standards as a clinical research trainer.
  • IAOCR accredits individual trainers, not training providers, curricula or courses.

What it does not imply

  • TRUVAN is not itself an IAOCR-accredited organisation.
  • No TRUVAN Academy program, curriculum, course or cohort is IAOCR-accredited, IAOCR-approved or IAOCR-certified.
  • A TRUVAN Academy certificate of completion is issued by TRUVAN only. It is not an IAOCR certificate, credential or licence.
  • Completing a TRUVAN Academy program does not confer any IAOCR accreditation on the learner.

Find out what your gap actually is.

Two minutes, then a pathway and a first step that matches your background.

What happens next

Learning only counts when you can show the work. Here is the order.

  1. 01

    Take the two-minute check

Tell us your background and target role. You get the gaps that matter.

  2. 02

    Learn the missing pieces

Short courses and programmes, built around the role you are aiming at.

  3. 03

    Show you can do it

Practise real tasks, then have your work reviewed by experienced professionals.
